You know, I too, used to think that labels were bullshit,but you know what? If someone wants to label themselves, then they should have the right to. That means they should also have the right to proper education about these labels, some people need labels to get a jumpstart on who they are. But then again, labels are just a way to let others know who you are. You need to be sure of who you are, yourself. You can’t be dependent on these labels, so it’s okay. You know I’ve also thought about how some people say they don’t like labels, and most of those people just don’t know themselves yet. I want to say that I know myself at least 85% well enough to give myself a label and not be dependent on it.
I’d also like to say that sexuality is fluid, but sexuality is not sexual orientation. That’s just me, those two things are completely different. And it would be great to live in a world where these labels don’t exist, but I’m still with the whole “you can label yourself all you want, as long as you don’t depend on it.”
